Fees The emergency telephone service charge is an amount not to exceed five percent of the tariff rate {La. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 33:9106B(1)a}

Additional Obligations of Service Supplier The service supplier shall annually provide the district governing authority with a list of the amount uncollected, together with the names and addresses of those service users who carry a balance that can be determined by the service supplier to be nonpayment of such service charge. The service charge shall be collected at the same time as the tariff rate in accordance with the regular billing practice of the service supplier. {See La. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 33:9106(4)(a)}

Cost Recovery Fee is to pay both district and service supplier's costs of implementation (except in Districts with less than 20,000 population); District shall not make payment of supplier's costs "unless there is a cooperative endeavor agreement" in place between the District and the Supplier; Payments to service suppliers commence only after District requests Implementation

[1]  Amendment to the statute shall not be interpreted to mean that the E911 emergency legislation has been amended in its entirety, but that the legislature has revised certain sections to create a more effective statute.
